the ranch

What captivates you first is the quiet. The drone of the bees and the whisper of the wind through the olive trees are the loudest murmurings. Then you’ll notice the silvery counterpoint of the olive leaves against the other greenery. The shimmering color remains even in the hottest months.

Olivopolis is located in the hills above Middletown in pastoral Lake County, California, where the Mediterranean climate is ideal for growing the olives used to produce our extra virgin olive oils.

the owners

Randy Brown and Julie Scribner purchased the Lake County, California property in 2001 and planted their first olive trees in 2003. Their love of good food and the out-of-doors are their inspiration. The golden, rolling hills of Northern California offer a magnificent backdrop for this labor of love, now shared with you, magically transformed into the delicious, golden elixir of Olivopolis.
